why doesn’t God stop the war,

and worship him for being supreme above both sides of any war

but also perhaps the prayer can be part protest.

i have been thinking more and more about prayers like this. pointing out to God things that are wrong in my life and in the world. not so much a request, just frustration and a desire for mercy.
